Volunteer

Each week, over 100 people volunteer at The River to make what we do here possible.  There are a multitude of ways that you can connect with us to serve our community and the folks of The River. You are uniquely gifted, and we have an opportunity just for you.

We’d love for you to join our team. Here are several key areas where you can volunteer.

Hospitality

Are you an “aesthetics” person? Does keeping things looking and running good give you a sense of joy and accomplishment?  Do you enjoy serving others? If so we need you to help out in He-Brews Coffeehouse & Bookstore! This could be as simple as checking customers out, serving food & beverages, assiting with inventory, etc.

Kids & Student Ministry Teams

Our kids & student ministry area offers a variety of ways for you to serve and use your God-given gifts and talents. A few choices include hospitality, Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights,  administration and facilitating or hosting a small group.

Guest Services

Make the first impression for our new guests and our church family. Whether you volunteer as a parking attendant or greeter at the door, your service will be what is remembered.

LifeGroups

Do you enjoy creating or facilitating environments where people can connect relationally and grow spiritually? We would love to talk to you about what is involved in facilitating a small group or opening your house as a host home for a small group.

Creative Arts

This is a multi-faceted ministry with the ability to use your creative gifts from the technical side of production to worshiping on stage. Computer geek? We need you to help support our IT department and ensure that we are always current.
