    The River Eagle’s Nest Nursery

(Ages 6 weeks to 18 months of age)

The River Eagle’s Nest Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for and nurture children 6wks through 18 months. We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child’s name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have such as a blanket or favorite toy. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.

The River Eagle’s Nest Nursery is available during every adult worship experience and is located just inside the main Worship Building, across from The Bookstore.

    X-Stream Kids Jr.

    (Ages 19 months – 5 years old)

X-Stream Kids Jr. is a high-energy environment that teaches the Bible lesson for the week through songs, drama and group participation. Each week in Imagination Theater your child will help our cast of puppets learn the Bible lesson and discover how it applies in the every day life of a preschooler.

X-stream Kids Jr. is preparing our kids for the next step “X-Stream Kids”!

X-Stream Jr. is available during every adult worship experience and is located in a separate building just south of the main entrance.

    FAQs

How old does my child have to be to start attending the nursery?

Our recommendation is that your child is at least six weeks old prior to bringing him or her to The River Eagle’s Nest Nursery. If you would like to attend the adult worship experience prior to your child being six weeks old, you are welcome to sit in the bookstore located in the back of the worship center on the ground level. This seating area in the bookstore is reserved for families with children birth through six weeks. This area also serves as a Family Worship room until the second floor, just above the Eagle’s Nest Nursery is completed.

How will you contact me if my child needs me?

If your child becomes inconsolable or ill, the display monitor, located behind the stage of the main worship center, will display your child’s security code, which will be given to you when your child enters the nursery. The monitor is visible from anywhere in the worship center. If your child’s number appears on the monitor, please return to the room where you dropped him or her off.

How does The River Kids keep parents involved in their child’s experience at church?

We believe the best way for parents to be involved in what their child is learning is to become a part of the team that teaches your child. Each week, volunteers do everything from greeting families to teaching and leading kids in worship.

How do I know if the workers/volunteers are safe to leave my kids with?

All workers/volunteers that help in any of the kids ministries here at The River have had background checks and they have been approved by Senior leadership to minister in our children’s ministries.

Do you provide assistance for infants with special needs?

Not yet. However our vision is to structure where your child can be a part of the Side By Side ministry. In this ministry, we will partner your child with their own trained volunteer and, as a team; they will go into the developmentally appropriate room. We will also have additional programming for special needs children and their families during the week.
